Bred from a strong line of campdrafters around Nowendoc, Amaroo is a very strong boned horse who is very pleasing on the eye. Unfortunately he was unshown as a yearling because of injury. Amaroo has been educated by Scott McRaye of Young who praised his outstanding temperament and his natural ability. Scott found him very intelligent and readily trainable.
Extremely quiet temperament and an absolute pleasure to own.

DAM: RONALA JILLAROO (77962)
Bay. Jillaroo was broken in and shaping up to be a real good camp drafting mare, but unfortunately broke her fetlock and was retired to stud. Jillaroo’s progeny are performing at campdrafts, being presented at 2003 ABCRA Australian Campdraft Championships at Bundarra.

Jillaroo’s Sire: SMITHS STOCKMAN
Won a lot of working classes and won at least 12 drafts. He was an open horse and winner of stallion drafts. ‘Stockmans’ dam ‘SMITHS STAR’ was a good campdraft mare taking out junior, ladies and open drafts. STAR also won champion led and working ASH classes.

Jillaroo’s Dam: RONOLA DIAMOND
Won 3 Day event classes and was a beautiful quiet black balding mare. Diamond is in Victoria at present and has had a string of foals.
